I am in North Florida so wont get too cold mostly 40/50s a few days of 20/30s. Once they heat up to operating temperature they stop work intermittently like a faulty oil pressure sensor does. (only when the sensor is failing). You will have to let your engine cool off before your crank position sensor will begin to work again.
