WebTie an Alpine butterfly in your webbing (or there's probably a specialized webbing knot for this) and clip your carabiner into. Or clip both ends of the sling to a biner at your attachment point down the line. Generally, any position that would "bend" the carabiner is shit and will allow it to hold a fraction of its rated load.
